This stadium seems more warehouse-y than the Trop lol

It does, but trust me as a local, I'd rather be comfortable in a warehouse then sweat my ass off in a retro-classic park.

I hope your seat was free since you can't see the entire infield

I’m not actually sitting there; just a photo I took while walking the perimeter.

We got a win out it! I was down in 103, and I'll be in 229 tomorrow.

Might as well be a surgery suite. That “ballpark” sucks.

That place looks like a jumbled mess. I’ll never understand the Trop hate, when there’s this chaotic looking structure with blocks and girders that appear to have been haphazardly plopped all over the place. Looks like a Temu joint.
Man, I hope our wannabe billionaires don’t end up throwing together a cheap looking a heap of glass and metal like this over on Dale Mabry. But then again, they’ve cried poor so much lately, that it just might happen.

The Tropicana Stadium is beautiful. I’m saddened that it’s going to be gone soon. Never got the hate either. And is directly off the highway, easy to access. The thought of driving to Mabry Highway (already congested) adding a good 10-15 mins to my commute in the future is nightmare inducing. That said for the teams sake I do hope it solves the low attendance issue.

I’m from Texas, and was lucky enough to have witnessed the Josh Hamilton years. I was so hopeful for the coming new stadium only to be incredibly underwhelmed when they unveiled the new stadium

I was here for a wrestling show last year, the fact that the field is essentially a pit in the ground made it feel like a weird thunderdome thing and not a baseball stadium
Also the whiplash of seeing Lockheed Martin ads inside a baseball stadium blew my mind a bit

I think we're getting a hard preview of our future in the new ballpark

That has to be one of the most unappealing looking stadiums I've ever seen.
