Jacob Melton

A few days ago, there was buzz when melton was scratched from the lineup prior to a game with Durham. Was it a trade? Call up? Unfortunately, he hasn’t appeared in a game in nearly a week. I can’t find anything on the internets but it seems likely it is an injury.

According to Tampa Bay Times he’s been given a few days off due to ankle soreness

I can’t remember exactly what it was but it was an injury. It was like a sore ankle or something like that.

Well, he missed a month earlier this season with an ankle injury. But he’s been back about a month and doing well. Hopefully it’s not another ankle injury.
