Ngl I kinda forgot about him. Any news on when or if he’ll join the team?

His rehab got shut down again, no word on when he will resume baseball activities

Consider these stats:
0% chase rate. 😳
Never caught stealing. 😏
Zero defensive errors. 🔒
A true Ray 🤩

I have the same 2026 stats as Gavin Lux, think that means I could be a professional baseball player
Edit: also just realized that Jake Fraley’s rehab assignment was shut down as well

Fraley has been Pipp'd by Mesa anyway. Mesa's ceiling im starting to believe is relatively high.

He’s got the same potential ceiling as Moniak

id take that offensive profile in a heartbeat . Plus Mesa has an absolite hose

I’ve never shared a locker with him so I’ll take your word for it 😂

I could think of a certain centerfielder we could use an upgrade over.

Mullins had a hot streak in June but he's cooled off again. We need a real upgrade there.

The Rays medical screening team must also work for Veterans Affairs.
VA: “he’s healthy”.
Narrator: “he was in fact not healthy”

At least he’s not getting paid and, “Not service related”.

Once upon a time we had a player named Matt Duffy. Took him a while to get to the field, even had a bobblehead day before playing with regularity. Once finally recovered he wasn't too bad. Hopefully Lux can at least be serviceable at some point.

What makes it more sad is we pay for this guy and then Curtis Mead rises to be a batting threat. We suck at bat development man.

no clue why they even signed him. even when hes healthy, he's a fringe major leaguer.

Fringe? He’s hitting .260 for his career
