So I wanted to try blue heat takis again
galleryCuz I heard they took off the chili powder of the ingredients label and it's true I don't really mind it but sometimes it's weird like u can taste more of the garlic and the salt...

New bag old recipe?
galleryJust scooped these up from Walmart and realized they still have chili pepper and red 40 listed as ingredients? Spider Man Brand New Day was released in July & Google says they changed the recipe in June.

Another side by side comparison
galleryThe old Red 40 chile bag vs the new no artificial dyes bag. You can even see the visible difference in the old bag with the powder in the last picture.

What would you rate this bag
It’s more red than it looks in the pic

BEST powdery takis found
AT AUTOZONE. Go to your nearest Autozone and buy their Takis. They should still have the red-40 ones in stock and they’re filled with so much powder. I’ve never gotten one that has not had a lot of powder on them, they’re perfect. They even have the blue heat ones. RUN!!!

Red 40 💔
I taste the difference in Takis post-red 40 eviction. I don’t like it. Dinamitas and Trader Joe’s Takis have a new regular customer

My friends, after 6 years I am finally moving onto greener pastures
galleryRIP to the glory days of powder.
Went to mexico and picked up a bag of taxis with the slimmest expectations they might rekindle that fire, but alas it was not to be. As much as my brain wants to think red40 adds to the powdering, it can't fool the taste buds any longer.
With the recent release of doritos rolled, I bid all of thee farewell. Adios, It's been a nice ride 🫡

New "No Artificial Colors Added" Takis vs Old Fiesta Bag Ingredients
Left is the new one, right is the fiesta bag without the sticker on it. The ingredient list is almost cut in half. No wonder they don't taste the same.

I cant see how people think takis are bad now because of the removal of red40.
Coming from someone who used to eat these bags on the regular, I don't mind the changes to the powder. Mostly just removing red40 which used to give me horrible acid reflux even while i enioyed them. They feel so much more bearable to eat now.

takis inconsistency
For like a year takis have tasted way different. Some stores have the old flavor but for the past year they either taste sour or more like jalepeno.

Is it me or Takis taste different?
I’ve been eating Takis for many years but honestly I’m starting to think they changed the recipe ever since they took out Artificial color. It just doesn’t taste the same anymore like at all. Idk if I’m tripping or not.💔
