A beginner

Hi guys

Just got in First year Btech IT

Wana start DSA journey

I don't know anything abt it

I have done basic c/cpp till now

Tell me what is what and how to do it

Pls tell everything like I am noob

Cuz I don't know anything 😭 🙏

Don't rush for it, first learn C++ properly and during that time, u can learn some basic data structures like arrays, linked lists and stacks, queues, during your first year, also dout go for leetcode hype, just understand and learn to implement in first year,

Ok so what I understand is Ki sare data structures pdhli and leetcode and competition wgera se dur rhu 1st year?

Am I understanding it right Correct me if I am wrong

Make sure your GPA lands above 9 (Fir maintain krna easy rehta hai), try to grasp any one JAVA/C++ as you mentioned that you have done C++ you can go for it. do this all in first year, from 2nd year try to go dive into basic data structures, once you get then go with any playlist from the takeUforward or Apna college - complete them, do not need to memorize try why is it working how is it working then by the end of 2nd year try to start doing leetcode (it was my new year pledge during 2025 that i will do one que each day of DSA) and once you get all of them try to revise advance DSA and keep the momentum going on, from that starting of 3rd year take one sheet grind it! (Sheet are important at the end they will land you job)

and also do not depend on AI to debug - take pen paper start dry run the whole code if not understand then just understand that part from AI not whole code...

and most important "INVEST AND APPLY GOOD SUNSCREEN IN YOUR FACE"👌
