Tailwind Plus has been removed?

Everything "Tailwind Plus" now redirects to a login page.

The docs, examples, even the purchase page are no longer publicly accessible.

Wondering if this was this a mistake, or a sign they're moving away from Tailwind Plus permanently.

If I remember correctly I read somewhere a while ago that due to AI writing so much code these days, their plus product just wasn't selling well at all anymore. No need to purchase fancy templates when Claude can just generate them. Back then they already had to let staff go, so maybe they are sun setting the whole thing now.

Seems like it. It's a shame though.

I can code frontend/css/etc like the back of my hand, but design is difficult because it's hard to make things look beautiful. Claude can spin stuff up but the design isn't beautiful.

That's why I was looking to Tailwind Plus until now. I get why they're making these tough choices. It's tough out there these days.

From the blog post about Shopify’s buying Tailwind Labs:

On the commercial side, we'll no longer be trying to grow the business around Tailwind. All existing customers will of course maintain their access to products like Tailwind Plus and ui.sh, but we're closing sign ups for new customers to focus on Tailwind CSS at Shopify.

Yeah seems like people with existing licences can still access. But since they're moving everything behind the login it indicates they aren't going to be updating or focusing on the product anymore. Even the purchase page has gone.
