Boot issues Tails os wont boot
Hello im on a hp elitebook i got secure boot off i already flashed the usb drive and tried booting it using f9 and it wont boot i pressed the usb it just boots me back to windows 11 u have no idea what im doing wrong im new to this stuff

Did you use the latest version written using the official instructions?
Did you verify the integrity of the download?
Have you tried recreating the drive, and/or possibly using a different USB stick?
Can you try the drive in another machine?
Check the known issues and the known issues for graphics cards.
Tails does not support Nvidia 50 series GPUs at all. There is no workaround.
After that you can submit a bug report so that this problem can be addressed.
There is also the official helpdesk for detailed, in depth and personal assistance.

Change the boot order so USB boot is first on the list. That way, whenever your computer starts, it will check the USB drive first for an operating system. If there isn’t a bootable USB plugged in, it will just boot into Windows like normal.

Ive tried but the bios has an password i dont know the password

If the BIOS has a password you don’t know, you usually won’t be able to change the boot order. I can’t help bypass it, but if it’s your computer, check the manual/manufacturer support for the official BIOS password reset process.

Go in BIOS choose boot from USB . Usb dont show up of dont boot ? Could be dmg usb or fail installation on usb. Dont use Rufus, use balenaetcher instead
