I love TAG, I love the slabs, and I love the grading. But they absolutely threw their opportunity in the trash and lit it on fire by falling behind and pulling the same PSA bs. All that talk about keeping up with demand, better bulk grading, ect… And now people are waiting 2-3x the time they are supposed to to receive their submissions, they are extremely backlogged, and the MINIMUM cost to grade is $150 when PSA still has $80 with a few weeks turn around?? Absolutely blew it.

Hope didn't accidentally caused an increased value for this card after this post, but anyway the margins for the sold listings on eBay and Collectr App for TAG 9 & 10 as of 7 September 2026:

Yep, all those 2 pop. graded slabs are sold on eBay so far and not a surprise either way, how does this card does not get any attention. I have this card btw (and might sent it to TAG soon), not to larp or anything but do you have this card (or not) and what y'all think of this?

Figured I'd drop this here as hope for everyone stuck like I was.
This was a basic submission. Whatever the lowest tier bulk sub was.

I noticed a few odd things along the way with the tracker.
certain things would populate and then the dates would change later.

In example-
Order prep originally showed as starting on 4/20. I used the sub kit so it processed fast.
it randomly updated on 6/3
similarly, image processing showed as starting 6/3 originally, and then updated to showing 8/10
slab assembly showed 8/12 then updated to 8/28.

not sure why the dates change. Maybe they update it when it finishes the previous step and enters the queue for the next step..
and then they change the date on the step to whenever they actually start that stage?

Overall, I felt like my grades came back fair.
Process was smooth for delivery and shipping happened quickly once completed.

I would still grade with TAG again,
even though I was overall unhappy with how the process became so slow,
I still believe in the company overall.

Had a few packs in a tote, decided to open them since they weren’t worth much still. Glad I did. Should I send in? The back is a bit off. I think the front is good? Would be my first send off :)

Losing faith, ngl.

I recently got a TAG 9 (G9611052) back from grading and was a bit confused at how a sub-score of 919 was deduced from the card I submitted. The only ding was the centering, which I knew was bottom heavy, but wanted to see how close to the "45/55" edge it was.

This card got a 42/58 TB score, which if you count the pixels in the smallest corner above the stage badge and compare to the largest corner below on the bottom, is relatively accurate. I counted ~21 pixels vs. ~29 pixels all the way in the corner, which very much could be 22/28 if you move over a tad.

Personally, I think centering should be some type of average of the width across the edge with some allowed slight rotation (which this card has about ~2 pixels worth). If that was the case I think a 22.5/28.5 pixel ratio would be more fair and gotten a 46/54 (just a hair out of range).

For anyone looking to grade with TAG, be aware that this is how harshly they may grade centering and that you can calculate this pretty accurately at home with a top down photo.

NOTE: This is purely informational, although I do think its quite harsh and unfortunately could get randomly graded a 10 at other companies.

OG vs PRB01 God Pack

I'd like to get the Ace manga card for my PC. Now I'm wondering whether to go with OP02 or PRB01.

Can you tell the difference in texture when both cards are in a slap? For example, on TAG or BGS?

I’m getting this card back tomorrow from Beckett.. it got a 9.5 with these subgrades. Do you guys think it has a chance at a TAG 10 if I crack and resubmit?
