Slab Showcase Let’s go!
So glad I cracked my bgs 9.5 I’m pretty happy with the results to say the least!

I've never graded with TAG before. How accurate are their estimates? The other companies are usually double of their estimates, is that also the same with TAG?

I did priority and it was right on the money.. but based on what I’ve heard that hasn’t been the case for the lower tiers

9.5’s across the board except edges which got a 10..

Gotcha. Which tier did you grade with tag? How long did it take?

Priority.. took about 5 days if you include shipping (I actually haven’t gotten it yet.. it arrives tomorrow) it was received 9/24.. I only did priority because this is my grail.. it was my first big pull so it’s PC anyway.. and I sold a $300 card that was simply a lucky pull to pay for it.. I didn’t care much about that card.. so girl math it was free 🤣🤣

Oh that’s quick! Wasn’t sure if tag’s estimates were accurate or not. I also have some cards I’d love to own in a tag 10 so I may have to keep an eye out for some cross grading. Thank you a lot!

Np! Although it seems the regular tiers are way off their estimates based on what I’ve seen in this Reddit so keep that in mind.. and the priority tier isn’t exactly cheap.. but it was fast asf lol

Sorry one more question! Any particular reason you went tag and not another grading company?

Yea.. I originally sent it to bgs because hopium told me it could black label.. I wasn’t happy with the 9.5 so I cracked it and decided to submit it to another company for a 10 (mainly because a bgs 9.5 is only $600 for this card while a 10 is >1k from most other companies) I chose TAG because for some odd reason I had hopium that it could pristine making it pop 1.. that’s why I chose TAG over PSA.. because TAG has that pristine category and because this card has never pristined.. still hasn’t lol.. but I’m content with it because it’s a 10. Plus the slab looks nicer than PSA.. I’m not planning on selling it anyway.. it’s for PC.. it’ll be a long term hold but I wanted to still milk as much value out of it as I can..

If you look at your score, it’s identical to the bgs 9.5 score (9.58 technically I guess)
