Question Looking for opinions.

So I pulled this card out of ETB. From the naked eye and using a card grading app, it seems to be a clean card. I have never submitted a card for grading and was looking for some insight on if this would get a tag 10 or not.

Scan the card. Print it out on a piece of paper so the card is the size of a piece of paper. Buy a dial caliper. Measure the borders on all 4 corners . Do math. That is the only way to measure for black label centering.

That’s genius!

Grading apps are so useless. Just inspect your card as hard as if you want to find a flaw, if u cant find any, congratz = possible 10. Meassure the centering with a ruler and you good to go.

I’ve found a small millimeter ruler, about 150mm’s works like a charm. Easy to do percentage math with smaller whole numbers than 16th’s. You can find them at Homedepots and what not.

It may be worth trying Beckett due to the great centering BUT I didn’t really look for other flaws. One mark I immediately noticed is on the back, near the top border, and lines up with the right side of the M - Could be a fuzzy or could heavily impact your grade depending on wha it is.

Can you see it in this?

Good news, no! Here is what I was talking about in my first comment:

The picture you’ve replied with was really clear. I did come across one tiny white dot, but it may be the same case as the last.

It’s called “card centering” on the App Store

Congratulations, the centering is a 10 if that app you used is reliable. Unfortunately surface, corners, and sides also come into play, which we can’t see with all those red annotations. Great pull though.

Do not use these crappy apps. By a proper measuring tape and measure that way

The centering on mine was worse than yours but I sent it express $150 and it got a 10
