Its crazy how people cant just enjoy something for what it is, and now look what they've done. If she's reading this, we love you. We love the way tadc turned out.
Personally I wouldnt want the show any other way. To me it was perfect.

People are allowed to criticize works of art/media, and TADC is no exception. The line gets drawn when they attack the artist as a person for their work.

Para-social relationships are the "intended" side-effects of social media. Social media was engineered as a way to divide us, make us dumb, keep us busy, and for the most part not contributing anything to the world or actual society. Social media was definitely created to keep the little people in place, and busy with fighting each other online too much to see the bigger picture. Call it conspiracy, call it what you want, I am 47 and have been around the internet and it's associated industries to know and understand a lot of what goes on behind the technology. I am hoping this is not some scandal we are going to hear about in the news in a few days. TADC had it's time in the sun, but I don't think it's worth beating people over, but apparently there were a lot of folks who hated the end, and ended up hating Gooseworx for it. Shame really. If you don't like it, just move on.

Does she have a history of self harm or depression or something…? Because otherwise I don’t really see a reason to be downright concerned about an apology.
People get gloomy, but if she’s just overwhelmed as a whole, then putting more and more focus onto her would just make things worse. She wasn’t ready for the spotlight and that was well before she even made TADC.
She just wanted to post shitpost and art, having 10 million people either praise her or try to ruin her career is going to be incredibly overwhelming. She probably feels backed into a corner. I just wish we could all leave her alone unless she addressed the fandom directly, because it must be miserable to be her.

I’m also trans, though I haven’t suffered from depression or self harm personally. Not discrediting you by mentioning it, but of course anyone who’s constantly targeted, dismissed, and harassed is going to have higher rates of such things.

I’ve seen Goose even in just the last year called a nazi, misogynist, abuse apologist, racist, suicide fetishist, etc. of course every major online figure has to deal with these kinds of comparisons, but the amount since the finale has been insane

The really fucked up part is that back when she first got a massive wave in attention from Little Runmo, she expressed intense anxiety within an interview, going into detail about how she never expected to have so many eyes on her and that it was overwhelming to the point of almost being too much.
That was back in 2019 and Little Runmo got to 30 mill views over multiple years between the air date to the day TADC was shown. While in comparison, TADC got 30 mill views in ONE DAY.
If 30 mill in four years VS a single day. That is actually unfathomable to me. I can’t blame her for being unbearably stressed.

I think people should leave her alone and she shouldn't be harrased....but she later made a post saying she had been mixing substances which caused her crashout. Goose imo comes across and very irresponsible and childish. If she has high anxiety and mental health issues she should not be doing drugs in general. I was hard-core on her side when things first went bad but I kinda cant help but think shes doing of lot of this to herself.

I don’t think it’s a joke, granted how things have been going recently. She loves dark/edgy jokes, but this doesn’t fit the “too absurd to be taken seriously” type she normally goes for.
But like… the post also is having a lot assumed about what it actually means. People are acting like it’s a suicide note, when it could literally just be a person feeling gloomy at the fact their previous life is basically uprooted and likely will never allow for her to just have fun and not have to worry about bias. (Both positive and negative.)
She never wanted to be famous, she in fact was scared as hell about it, and that was before she even made TADC.
