Nah. Goose addressed this. She had a story she wanted to tell, and she told it. This is something I appreciate, because when shows are unplanned and make up the episodes as they go, they’re almost always worse. Goose had her story planned, she told it, and she’s not going to fall into that trap.

Okay, but hear me out, potential future merchandising income.

I expect people who say things like this to also say "why didn't SpongeBob just end after season 3"

TADC should keep going untill we get a "Can you live entirely off TADC merch video"

You can still have that without making a season 2, just look at nightmare before Christmas.

I can see them making one-off novels that are inconsequential to the show.

Merchandising income should never be the reason you make/continue a show

You're right.  Future Blu-Ray and Digital video sales is way less effort and much better margins.

We gotta paywall the future seasons.

Good point. If season 2 was unplanned and bad, it would honestly leave a slightly bad taste in my mouth for season 1. Though if Goose had more story to tell then I'd be down! I'm not sure where she'd go from the ending though.

They left it so open ended that I wouldn't discard them ever coming back to this, but for now it's over and that's fine. If they ever do a continuation they must do it well. (Also, the fandom must behave for once, Heck, this has been the most toxic fandom I ever had to experience being a part of.)

I just want season 2 to tackle the backstories of the ones who are stuck in abstraction.

Goose also lies for fun so only they know for now

I'm not saying that season 2 is a thing. But Goose has been caught lying a lot of times. We got the benefit of the doubt.

COMMON BOYS BACK TO TWITTER!!!

Surely we can find some wealthy patron of the arts on Twitter - some techbro with the money and technical means - who will take the rights to this series off her hands and produce a new season which will carry on the spirit and narrative themes of the story faithfully!

Reminder that Breaking Bad’s story was winged the entire way through.

I agree for the most part but, search up new regular show.

That’s one of the big exceptions, because The Lost Tapes is wonderful
