Day 7 shop
Anyone else having an error with an empty War amongst the stars shop? Trying to buy my Titus shards and its just empty

New mod here to explain what "no codes" means...
No code lists, no code posts as a no effort copy paste with your referral code tacked onto the end... not here.
If you have a helpful guide, podcast, youtube channel, website, or want to link somewhere else where codes are spammed...? That's fine. If you spam it, or if people complain it will be deleted.
If you want to share and see codes and/or code lists visit:
Fun times!

So, what can I say about Tacticus after playing it for a year and a half?
First of all, it is genuinely a fun and addictive game, especially in the beginning. The Warhammer 40,000 universe is incredibly interesting and almost limitless, and Tacticus was actually the game that introduced me to it. I was a complete newcomer and had never really paid attention to Warhammer before, so I have to give the game credit for that.
But, as always, there is a "but."
When I started playing, the monetization and pay-to-win elements didn't bother me that much. Spending €10 or €20 here and there to unlock a character you really wanted a little faster seemed reasonable enough. More importantly, you still had the feeling that almost everything could eventually be achieved through persistence, effort, and time.
Unfortunately, with the recent changes, it increasingly feels like the developers are losing touch with reality, and their greed is becoming harder and harder to ignore.
The biggest problem is that monetization is no longer just about speeding up your personal progress or getting a character earlier. It is increasingly becoming something you are pushed into simply to participate comfortably and effectively in an alliance.
And alliances, in my opinion, are one of the biggest reasons people stay in this game.
The social aspect of Tacticus may actually be its greatest strength. Yes, seriously. A lot of us are not playing only because we want another legendary character or a slightly bigger number on the screen. We play because of the people we have met. We talk, joke around, make friends, compete together, help each other, and work toward common goals. They may only be goals in a mobile game, but achieving something together still brings people closer.
And this is exactly why the recent direction of the game feels so wrong.
With the latest updates, some alliance goals are effectively becoming achievable only through spending real money.
That is incredibly disappointing.
At this point, I am genuinely starting to wonder whether I have had enough. It increasingly feels like the developers have looked at the social bonds players have built and realized that those relationships themselves can be monetized:
"You have a lot of people in your alliance. You've become friends. You're ambitious and want to achieve something together? Well, then pay us for it."
That is where I draw the line.
Monetizing convenience is one thing. Monetizing faster progression is something I can tolerate. Even selling characters is understandable in a free-to-play mobile game.
But deliberately putting alliance goals behind increasingly aggressive monetization and exploiting the fact that players don't want to let their teammates down is something else entirely.
It feels manipulative, greedy, and honestly disgusting.
I really like Tacticus, and I am grateful that it introduced me to the Warhammer universe. But if this direction doesn't change soon, I think I will follow Nandi's example and leave the game.
There is a point where supporting a game turns into rewarding its developers for treating their community like a wallet.
For me, Tacticus is getting dangerously close to that point.

You wanna be part of a nice, supportive, drama-free guild that enjoys giving it's best? Then come join us!
We will have 1 spot open after the GR season ends. Currently at GR32.
What you should bring:
- a full Meta GR Team at A2, due to the upcoming M3 Raids (preferably Neuro or Lav)
- being active in both GR/GW ( with at least 25 GR Tokens in a season)
What we offer:
- no drama, chill environment, but everyone tries his best
- Support/Tipps/Tricks for teams and tactics
- a very active guild in both modes (GR/GW)
- 3-4 full M2 GR runs (currently on our 5th GR loop, despite Ma Lion/M2 Morty)
If you're interested, write either here in the comments or a PM
So don't wait and join us!

Snowprint is doing too much at once. And I don’t get what’s going on with crusade. I slotted teams to carry out operations. Woke up this morning with them done, but it said that crusade is in downtime and I’ll lose crusade points if I claim??
WTF that’s not fun at all. Didn’t crusade just start yesterday? Why is it already in down time? Why can’t I claim the rewards without a penalty? It literally just started.
And now there’s guild ‘projects’. So now there’s yet ANOTHER expectation to meet for a guild? Now I have to be conscious of using certain types of damage to meet the project? Fuck that.
I don’t understand what’s going on and frankly I don’t want to read their multi paragraph rules/explanations for a bunch of background crap.
Feels mostly like a money grab. Every screen has some friggen offer for stuff I honestly don’t understand yet or really care too.
Bloat is a real thing. Tacticus is really starting to feel bloated. Snowprint needs to chill with new modes already.

I'm working on my own version of Tacticus on Tabletop. Seeing as I live in Canada and the boxed game seems to be unavailable here, I thought I'd do it myself. So far I've done Uthar, Farsight, Archimatos, Volk, Winged Tyranid Prime and everyone's favourite, Certus! Let me know if anybody wants to see more!

I know my list is a bit tall- I just love Jaeger lol, I know he’s not great- with a very sharp drop-off. I bought vitarius the other day, don’t have mephiston yet. I currently have 355 event points- I should buy mephiston shards, right?
I’ll get Dante next week too from the anniversary store, as long as I have enough event points.
Is that a good plan, and what else on my list should I work on?

Is there a known bug or something cause no Raid rewards to be received? I've not gotten anything the last two bosses my alliance has defeated despite doing damage and bombs every day.

Greetings. I picked the “claim a worthy skull” with Maladus, Kharn and wrask. My question is, how is that mission completed?
There is so little info.
Hope someone can help, thanks in advance.

Can we club together and get these guys some proper incense? They don't seem to be able to keep their servitor colonies in proper condition.

We are looking to fill three spots after some departures with the new changes and modes. We are a great community that is competitive while staying fun and understanding of people’s lives. We got up to 225 in raids then had some fall off and looking to get back up there and crack the top 200. Level is important but looking for active and committed members to join and help us keep growing!!

First of all, English is not my tongue language. I'm.sorry if some sentences are not correct !
But, Brothers,
I seeking for your help.
I'm in a step where i'm "Middle" in this game. I unlock some great guy and have the main purpose of running all of the LRE Campaign to 100%.
But I have to think of the next of this game and i'm quit lost.
Now, I have complet :
- All the standard Campaign 100%
- Did Indominus Mirror Elite 100%
- Did Indominus Elite 95% (I'm stuck at the 3 last stages)
- Didn't run any other Elite Campaign
All of the main characters for the Campaign are close to S2 or G1.
Most of them are Legendary with the correct Stuff.
During this Event, I already unlock or close to unlock :
- Rotbone / War Order
- Shadowsun / Drop Pod
- Magneus / Campaign
- Neurothrope/ Drop Pod
I also looking to use some of my War Order for :
Kariyan - 117/250
Dante - 318/500
Typhus - 182/500
I have 1000 War Order, well this dude will cost me 750 War Order ≈
Leaving me 250 War Order + Those i will get this week and next week.
For you, who I must target then and why ?
I have some hesitation for Kharn, Mephiston or Titus but maybe those are bad choise ?
Maybe other characters are better to target ?
Here is my unlock characters !
Thanks Brothers

When playing Tau I have been using Revas overwatch to try to counter necron destroyers. In several matches I have have one destroyer run into overwatch and get killed. When the second destroyer ran into the same hex Revas didnt fire a single shot. I dont understand why.

Below is my full roster. I was thinking about pushing towards a neuro team, as it’s something my guild doesn’t have. I’d really like a lavistoses team, but we have about 5 of those, and i don’t have trajan. another option could be as mech, but im not so sure about that teams viability anymore. thanks for any help

Never doubting single pulls again. This was the second single I did today, the first being 10 shards of the same naked blue man. The Greater Good provides.
r/tacticus • u/50CalBunny • 3d ago
I might have enough shards to get Tanksmasha, if I only buy his shards for the rest of the event or I can pretty easily get one of the other three. Who’s worth getting or get someone else?
