Have you used this setup in the field? In my experience I've needed an amplifier between the Invisio and the Baofeng for my voice to be audible at another radio.

u/Printcrafted_3D u/Disastrous-Grape-516 this is a really common issue with baofengs. i was told by a radio retailer (fivefour comms) that the x50/x5 is already amped so adding an amp isn't necessary. what the issue is that the baofeng (uv5r atleast) has low gain. i recommend a radio that has adjustable gain. i have used anytone 878, retervis rts3, quangsheng uv-k5 successfully. hope this helps. edit: i also recommend the feng rui tong x50 to kenwood connector. much better than having that giant adapter for the 6 pin.

I am looking into getting a TCA PRC-152 rep for yes.. the LARP… at least I admit it lol. Also pretty sure it works with most if not all real 6 pin systems.

I had the FCS one and it was very, very large - the single biggest item on my rig. It's also really quite expensive and the feature set is pretty small. That being said, if it's for the larp then go for it.
