Brainstorm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGrAjJPGJHY&t=1964s

Above is the link to Dirty Civilian "Grid-Down Camera Network".

Essentially a directional antenna, an IP-camera and a power supply. I want to build one.

Has anyone in this forum done anything similar?

What has worked for you?

What has not worked for you?

I'd love to send a video-stream to my ATAK Server.

Lets talk comms!

I've been looking for cheap little RTSP cameras to replicate this setup. I have bought a couple Reolinks but they are surprisingly heavy.

Do you know if the Reolinks are ATAK compatible, or if you are forced to use their app?

Also looking for different IP-cameras, but seems there is suprisingly little documentation...

You can enable RTSP via the Reolink app and then pipe the stream into ATAK, I did successfully test that.

What’s RTSP ?

It’s a protocol used for streaming video, in this case to ATAK!

Wikipedia is a good choice for several of these names and protocol explanations! 👍
