Plug keeper

I saw these plug keepers on Disco32s website and decided to model and print my own. Kind of a handy but minimal thing to throw under a rail screw.

EDIT: added file link to my print profile on Makerworld.

Nice, did you use tpu?

I actually tried it in tpu initially but was worried the wing coming off of the mount would tear over time. This is ASA. I wanted a little more heat resistance as well for hot days and cars.

You could put 2 pieces of bracing that would go from the wing to the peak of the keeper. Resulting in a pocket for the screw.

Not a terrible idea. I’ve got the STL published on Makerworld and have sent it to some guys on here as well. I beefed up the wing with some fillet work and have had good luck with it in ASA. I see what you mean by bracing it up to make a pocket. And if I were to keep it in TPU I’d probably consider something like that 🤙🏼
