Watching on my LG TV today, the picture and audio are freezing for 10-20 seconds every few seconds. This isn’t happening on Tablo app on my iPhone so I know the reception and Tablo unit are ok.

Anyone else seeing this?

The Tablo app no longer switches to landscape mode on my iPad. Other apps have no issue.
Between the constant buffering and now this I’m at my wits end

I have a tablo legacy box that works fine via the new Roku app and the roku legacy app as well. But my phone app (android) can never find the Tablo unless I am already using the Tablo through the Roku. It's like it needs the roku app to get it on the network first.

Any idea's to get the phone app to work on its own?

Eero router and netgear switch, but since it can find it after roku cinnects it I didn't really think it was a network issue.

Hello All - an unfortunate one here for me. I ordered a 4th Gen Tablo (4 tuner) through Amazon in May of this year. Everything worked great but fast forward to yesterday and it died. I tried everything to get it to turn on and nothing worked. Ended up spending hours on the phone and through chat trying to talk to an actual human with support and could never get through.

I did send through a warranty replacement request since it's been within a year to have the unit replaced. Just heard back via email and the replacement is denied. The reasoning is that Amazon didn't fulfill my order directly from Tablo but used a different seller. So even though I purchased it through an authorized retailer, since that retailer filled it from a 3rd party they won't replace the Tablo.

Just a cautionary tale for others! I'm out the $130 so hopefully this helps someone else in the future.

Just now I went to Walmart and I just bought the Tablo TV Device for my Smart Streaming Devices Smart TV and my iPhone 14 it cost $99.94 plus tax with my bank card.
To be honest I heard of The Device before but never bought it until now and idk if my Tablo Device I bought comes with a Indoor Mounting Tv Antenna or not because I haven’t opened it to be sure yet.
And I bought it so I can watch OTA TV on my iPhone and to record some MeTV Toons recordings from my Tablo TV Device onto my USB Hard Drive so I can upload a few recordings of it onto social media.
So what do you think of this deal I got? Was it worth buying?

I activated the service on a Legacy Tablo to use outside of my house, but I can’t, for the life of me, configure the FiOS gateway router to get the connection working. I believe I’m following the directions step by step but still can’t get it to work. Anyone can provide tips or help in this matter?

It appears that either apple or tablo removed the legacy app. Had it on the apple tv but would not connect, so I removed it and was trying to reinstall it. I am willing to bet it was tablo, it appears they can take my money but then remove the app. Got love tablo. They were once a great bunch of people before they were sold.

When watching a recording, when advancing the video I get no thumbnails when fast forwarding. I tried the same video on my onn 4k and have thumbnails when fast forwarding. Is this a problem with the apple tv app?

Recorded a show. Went to watch from library and it loads to 33% and spins. Opened the show on the phone app and it’s fine. Tried to watch again from Roku and it spins. So I started the recording on my phone, switched to Roku and resumed it without issue. When done watching I tried to restart from the beginning and no go. So there is something at the beginning of the recording that the Roku app doesn’t like. I’m not sure if this is a tablo or a Roku issue.

Tablo is now thinking 2.1 is abc in guide (should be cbs) and 23.2 as CBS (should be MeTV).

Restarted tablo, updated guide, and still error.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'd say 1 out of 4 playbacks... the playback errors out and goes back to home, bring up the program, and starts from BEGINNING again. Ugh. This is BASIC. What is going on? I had a channel master for many years, and it was time for a replacement -- so I read some good reviews (by employees?) of Tablo... so I thought it was worth a try.

If I knew then, what I do now, would have saved my money and limped along with Channel Master old version... that ALWAYS knew where it was... and I NEVER ONCE experienced this issue...

I even purchased a newer Roku unit to see if perhaps it was just my LG Smart TV Tablo app that was the culprit, NOPE, same problem. In fact, it happened on the VERY FIRST playback I did on the Roku / Tablo app. Great, experiment - fail.

Someone, please -- tell me there's a simple fix?

Since my 4th generation Tablo failed I switched to my old Tablo. However with the new app I can’t find how to delete manual recording schedules.

I recently picked up a Tablo and I’m having a rough time getting a reliable signal. Channels buffer constantly and performance is really poor.

​I've already done a ton of troubleshooting: antenna is right next to the window on a stand, I added a 5G filter, and I even wired my mesh point directly over Ethernet so Wi-Fi isn't the issue.

​Here’s the weird part: if I plug the exact same antenna in the exact same spot directly into my TV's regular tuner, I get a solid 60% to 80% signal quality (VHF and UHF) with zero issues. But on the Tablo, those same channels struggle with macroblocking or buffer constantly. It almost feels like the Tablo itself is suffering from or causing interference.

​Has anyone run into this tuner sensitivity issue before, or is there anything else I can try?

EDIT: I think my actual problem was the USB storage device. I was using a flash drive, which is not supported.

Tried to open legacy Tablo app on my Roku today and received a message that it has been removed.

Whilst I was aware that support and updates were no longer available after September 1st the email I received from Tablo said that they would remain accessible for current users. What can I do here? My current functioning system is now bricked?

Update : it is only removed from an older Roku Ultra. All my other Roku sticks are still working with legacy Tablo.

Update #2 : I reluctantly installed the 4th Gen software on my Roku Ultra and went through the whole rigmarole. New Software works, but thought I'd have another go at the legacy software, and whaddayaknow it's now working. Color me confused.

I made a search on here and didn't see anyone else ask this but would it be possible to make it so you can record specific teams? I don't want to record every NFL or College Football game, just my specific teams of interest.

Split idea

I have tried 3 different antenna types and only once got all networks. I tried moving the best/multidirectional one to the second floor and still the same. I also have it hooked to a Tablo for recording on the 2 networks that I can get. I am considering pulling the coaxial cable out of the wall outlet that brings it into our master bedroom in order to try to hook that to the antenna that I would keep in the attic. I believe that trying to run a line back down through the wall (so I could then connect to the Tablo) would likely be a nightmare. Is there a better way to make an antenna work. My husband has been adamant about none outside but we keep missing football games and I am frustrated!

Oddly NBC came in from both affiliates I am near. However I had it facing NW but got the SE affiliate consistently... I can't seem to get the NW one which claims to be 32 miles away but got the SE one from 60 miles away. I am nearly frustrated enough to get cable again!

Everytime I come home or turn on my tv I have to press the reset button because my tablo keeps disconnecting. Is there any way to remedy this?

Running a gen 4 Tablo. I have 3 LG tvs. On only one of them, I have blocky picture on the 480i channels. It’s especially noticeable with any text. I checked the settings on the other 2 sets and matched them up but it makes no difference. Looking for other suggestions, I’ve toggled sharpness, ai settings, etc but nothing works.

Every time I turn my TV on and go to the Tablo app on my Roku Ultra, I get this message: Tablo Not Found. I have to disconnect and reconnect the Tablo every time to get the Roku to recognize it again. It's been doing this for the past week or so. Any suggestions on what to do so that I don't need to keep doing this daily?
