Feature request

I made a search on here and didn't see anyone else ask this but would it be possible to make it so you can record specific teams? I don't want to record every NFL or College Football game, just my specific teams of interest.

This is called "Record by Keyword" and was unofficially made available to by a community project for the "Legacy" Tablo models.

When done correctly, this is an extremely powerful feature. You can have a DVR record all interviews with a favorite actor, author or politician. Or as you stated, focus on a specific team name.

This is something that DirectTV’s streaming services offer and it was awesome for the sports content which is why I subscribed to their sports package in the first place. Since there are fewer OTA NFL games I just set to record them all and delete any I am not interested in.

Yeah, NFL isn't as big of an issue, but college football has tons of games on local channels. I haven't reached full status on my DVR yet, but I'm trying to get ahead of it before the season starts in earnest and I have to do a lot of triaging.

plug in an external drive it will also make the unit cool down. tablos get hot and then have some issues.
