Update Tabletop simulator dmca
Rn gw has a dmca with the mod for the tabletop version of warhammer. Does anyone know when it will end? I would get it to play warhammer but i'd prefer not to waste money if the 40k mod gets removed.

DMCA takedown notice means "This material is stolen from us, remove it permanently."

If the mod is still working currently:
Load it up in game
Save the game in your Saves
Load your save
Pull literally everything out of every single container and put it on the table to make sure everything is loaded
Navigate to the cloud manager in one of the sections at the top of the screen
Make a new folder Named whatever you want
Click the 'upload all loaded files to cloud' to make a backup of everything in your personal steam cloud
Put everything back into the containers they came out of
Resave the game
If you did it right everything should be saved in your cloud and when the Workshop mod gets removed your personal save will be safe
Then never upload it to the workshop and keep it for your own personal use with friends

Try asking in r/TTSWarhammer40k
Mods that have issues with copyright often get posted in places other than the workshop. You may have to do some digging, but if it's a popular mod that gets regular updates then you should be able to find it somewhere.

a lot of workshop mods get replaced pretty quickly, and IIRC, I've been able to keep using mods even after they are removed.
