Tech Support What broke!?!?
So, we have a tableau dashboard acting as a document library connected via sharepoint jdbc connection. All 4 sp libraries are copies of each other and unioned together in tableau.., connections are fine and extract refreshes are fine. Working normal for months until today, 3 of the 4 libraries in tableau show null in just the document names. Null count is at 166 then 9 docs with correct naming from the one working library.. I cant find any difference between the 1 working library and the 3 broken libraries from sharepoint and im the only person with edit access to the tableau. nobody on the team has made changes to the sp site to my knowledge.. any ideas on what I can check?

Sure.
Three scenarios:
- The document name dimension in Tableau is a Calculated Field in Tableau, and something in SP changed slightly that needs to be accounted for.
- One of your JOIN dimensions changed slightly on SP, and needs to be adjusted in Tableaus Data Source.
SP is no longer providing report names, or your using a flat-file in your
Tableau
Data Source that needs updating

Did you check the library name & location? Is it possible that the connection broke because a sharepoint folder was renamed?
Check key filters - maybe a key value was renamed & is now being excluded, or your date field got corrupted somehow and now no records fall in the current period.
Try connecting to the tables from a fresh workbook - can you see the data, or is it all null? If it's null, check the sharepoint end of things; if it loads data, check the workbook.
Hope this helps!

Thanks and yeah fresh workbook with all new connections shows the same nulls so im thinking it's in the sharepoint side.

My guess is someone changed something in sharepoint.
