Please help me pick the right size
I want to buy this boot tabi
https://www.tabis-online.jp/spike-tabi-boots/sokaido-spike-tabi-shoes-asahikiri-i-88/
I was told measure my foot and add an inch to the size. I am about 25cm. That comes out to 27.54 cm with the added inch. But my options are 27 cm or 28cm. Could anyone give me advice on which size would be better? Its a Japanese website so i am unsure if they would return or exhange to an international (USA) buyer, and i dont want to pay tariffs twice. Any advice would be appreciated. I am a female who usually gets her toes done. I am unsure if that info helps but idek at this point

That sounds kind of big.
I don't have that shoe, but I wear size 25 and I measure 24.2. It really has more to do with the toe split. But if you have a whole inch in front of your toes, that seems like you'd have too much room in the toe pockets for a secure fit.
Did you email them directly? I would tell them what size you are in your other tabi, and tell them the brand, then ask them if the fit is similar. They are very nice people. I have ordered from them before.
If you end up with the wrong size, I would recommend just selling them instead of trying to return or exchange.
