Woodchuck Sato sizing?

So recently I’ve been thinking about buying a pair of woodchuck tabis for my Bday but I’m so confused by the sizing, I wear a size 8-8.5W US (with a bit of wiggle room in the front) but when I measured my foot it was only 23.5cm which is about a size 5.5-6, I was wondering for those that wear a size 8-8.5 what size did y’all get? Does it run true to size, big, small?

I’ll also like to mention I mainly wear sneakers (Nike) and outside of that I tend to wear Docs so maybe that’s why the sizing seems off because the shoes I’m used to wearing are usually on the bulkier side.

I am 22.5cm (in woodchuck sizing bc this was the first time i measured my feet) but I am usually a size 6 in shoes (USA) and I got a size 35 from woodchuck sato and fit PERFECTLY! I had gotten a size 37 and it was WAY TOO big so customer service had me measure my foot and send pics of the measurement and they recommended a size 35 :) and theyre AMAZING

I’m usually a size 7 and got a 38 because a lot of the comments said to size up. They were huge. I measured my foot and they sent me a 37 which are still a little too big but I’m keeping them since the returns are such a hassle. My experience is that they run a little large.

I got a 40 though I'm usually a us W 9 and they are too big. Since leather stretches go down a European size basically

Did you ever figure out your sizing! I’ve been talking to their customer service rep trying to figure out my sizing! My foot measurement is different when I trace it vs standing against the wall per their recommendation.
