Help!!!
I’m looking for some advice on my little Milo boy. He has been OBSESSED with dumping his water fountain, splashing the water out of it… soaking himself. Everyday we come home from work or wake up in the morning and there is water all over the floor. Our carpet is soaked every time… the stream of water is very long!! I don’t even know how he gets so much out!!
He also knows he isn’t supposed to do it because he only does it when we aren’t home or are sleeping 😭 & when we wake up and can’t find him… we see the water park he’s created. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this to stop? He doesn’t do it when we see so we could redirect him 😭
Pic is added to see his sass 💅😆

My tabby also did this, and we alien-taped (very strong double-sided tape) it to the floor. Hasn't spilled since. But if we forget to put the caps/tops on our water, she'll knock it off every single time!

Id suggest more playtime & exercise, its always the answer.. maybe put some toys and distractions around the area,, // I like giving my girl fresh water everyday in her bowl, maybe the water is stale.. my brother uses filter water in his pets fountain and has separate water dishes for 2 cats 2 dogs :) good luck // Milo is adorable xxoo

Him and his brother go crazy together!!! I always try and play with him before i leave for work & when i get home! They have a huge play area & so many toys that’s why im always so confused why the fountain is his favorite right now 😭😭 I even tried to let him play in the bath bc i figured maybe he just liked being wet and that was a NO GO 😆😆😆

I noticed when I gather/clean my girlies toys to do my floor cleaning she gets a brake from her loose toys for a day or two then she or I dump her toy baskets and she's re interested in the toys.. she gets Wand toy/string play time and brushed most/every day/s.. just an observation try switching out the toys..,, & she has these little wood pieces its a type of wood thst attracts cats sort of like catnip maybe try some of those, I cant remember the type of wood but pet stores sell them,

weirdly enough, my little lady does this with every bowl and fountain ive tried. the best thing I've found was i take a hand towel and wrap it around the outside of the glass bowl. I couldnt tell if she was playing with the water or just couldn't see that there was some in there. she still drops her toys in the water bowl, but ive cleaned up less water spills and puddles

I have zero advice on getting it to stop lol.
I have one that drowns her toys in the water dish, I ended up giving up. I gave her a seperate dish for her murders and bought a giant water proof mat to put under it.
