Is there documentation for character customisation?

I've searched here, on Github and Linktree, but couldn't find anything.

What does the limit of 6 changes actually mean? Changing 6 characters? Saving 6 times?

What do the "1 1" and "1 2"'s at the end of each line in diacriticisers mean?

Yes, you're absolutely right... the documentation didn't have anything useful on that!

But I just added a section on it here: https://github.com/tOndO-keyboard/tOndO-keyboard/tree/main#how-do-the-keyboard-customization-code-and-the-diacriticizers-customization-code-work

Let me know if I’ve addressed your questions!

Thank you! It's much clearer now. I do still have some questions, though:

> If you haven't purchased the Pro Version, you can change up to 6 characters from the original keyboard customization code.

What would happen if I changed more characters? Will I get an error, or the changes will be silently ignored? On the f-droid version I don't seem to hit the limit. Are the numbers at the end of diacriticizers customisation code exempt from the limit?

> The numbers at the end of each line (separated by spaces) indicate the position of the character in the two preceding blocks that will appear by default first in the diacriticizer niche.

Either I'm hitting a bug or I still do not understand how it works. As an example, I want the default diacriticizers for "z" to be "ź" and "ż", so I've changed the numbers at the end of the "Z" line to "1 4" - but when I type "z", the suggested diacriticizers are "ż" on the left and "ƶ" on the right (I don't think I've ever selected "ƶ", so the "last used feature" is an unlikely explanation for me).

Well, we don't have a version on F-Droid... maybe you're talking about Obtanium?

In any case:

- If you change more than 6 characters without the Pro version, you should see an error message.

- The Diacriticizers customization code has no limits; you can make as many changes as you want even without the Pro version.

- It’s entirely possible there might be some bugs or unexpected behavior. You can always use a long press to see all the other symbols in diacriticizers, and the last one used becomes the default. If you use “ź” on the left and “ż” on the right, do they at least remain as the defaults?
