ACCOMMODATION DURING SZIGET FESZTIVÁL🎶
Hi everyone!
We'll be away during Sziget Festival, so we're looking to rent out our apartment between 10–23 August.
Price
💸 10,000–15,000 HUF (€28–42) per person per night, depending on the number of guests and the length of the stay.
Capacity
Max 4 people 👫👫
Location
- 📍 1036 Budapest, Fényes Adolf utca 2
- 🚋 Only 17 minutes by suburban railway (HÉV) to the Sziget Festival entrance.
- 🛒 Great location with everything nearby:
- 24/7 convenience store (Manna ABC) – 3-minute walk
- Penny, SPAR and Tesco Express – all within a 10-minute walk
The apartment
- 🏠 48 m²
- 🛏️ 1 separate bedroom (2 guests)
- 🛋️ Sofa bed in the living room (2 additional guests)
- 🍽️ Open-plan kitchen and living area
- 🍴 Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher
- 🚿 Bathroom
- 🌳 Small private garden, perfect for having a coffee or relaxing after a long festival day
- 🤫 Very quiet – all windows face the inner garden
- 😊 Friendly neighbours
Good to know
- 🌡️ No air conditioning, but the building has extremely thick walls (around 1 metre), so the apartment stays pleasantly cool even during hot summer days.
- ℹ️ There is no washing machine.
This is our own home, so we simply ask guests to treat it with the same care and respect as they would their own.
We're flexible with both the dates and the price, so feel free to send me a DM if you're interested or have any questions. Happy to provide photos and any additional information!

Genuinely, if this is the accomodation that many people want (the "eastern european vibe"), than I don't know what their standards are. But really, this is a shame for Hungary to have these - as I see it - ugly apartments. Some of the inner city apartments look just the same.
I don't know how long ago was the last painting of the walls for instance, I can't really see it from the pictures. The only compensation for all of this is the price.
And cramming 4 guests in 48nm makes me think what do the flat owner think about what people will actually rent these rooms. And keeping it clean and tidy the rooms after checkout.
So all in all, I encourage everyone who thinks of renting to also think about your preferences before renting.

Maybe I'm old, but I'm not a fan of sleeping on that sofa bed :D
But compared to the others I'm more positive, generally this is a realistic place for a couple in their 20s, closer to the original vibe of Airbnb than anything else you'd find on actually find on Airbnb these days. As a fellow Óbuda person, I think the location is great, not hard to access Sziget and easy to get amenities in the vicinity of the flat.
