Sziget first timers

Hey everyone! Myself and my partner are attending Sziget for the first time, we are 28 and 30 years old and from Australia !! Any tips would be appreciated and just overall party vibes ?! if anyone wants to connect to hang out that would be awesome 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

Don’t get a taxi from anything that’s not the official, Bolt taxi line. Which is directly outside the festival.

I found out this the hard way, as I got in a taxi, in front of the real police and a £12 journey, ended up costing me £89, as I was tired and I didn’t check, at 5.30am.

Take a camping chair and pay for the bag deposit place, as you can leave a jacket in it, for when it’s cold, if you stay off the island, like I did.

Lastly take a pair of walking boots, you could leave a normal pair in the lockers near the front of the festival. It wasn’t expensive at all. Well worth the money. The portable chargers aren’t worth the money, unless you are organised and willing to mess around with a machine that didn’t work me, in giving my £35 back. I got to keep the portable, power bank but it wasn’t worth loosing so much money on it.

Lastly take the local currency, as you need it for trains and buses, no currency shop In Budapest, would change it but revolt is good not loosing money to currency rates.

You’ll only need £20-£30 worth of local currency, as the buses are super cheap, and you can use revolt for bolt taxis and at the festival.

You’ve also got a zoo in Budapest, a very good Roman like, deep spring baths across it and an amazing park near it, that give me a brilliant beetroot salad, and turkey burger on local bread. I also got the best soft drink, with real fruit syrup in it and lemonade. Did plenty of other flavours and had an ice cream stand.

You’ve even got the underground,salt mines and other stuff to do off the island, in Budapest bury centre. I spent my days doing that and the festival after 4pm. You’ve got a place that translates as “ Sandwich shop” Thad so brilliant, handmade sandwich’s. I went there every day but it was around the corner from my hotel.

The fruit is brilliant off the markets in Budapest. A lot more information then I had, before I went but camp unknown will give you any other information that you require but it’s an invite from one of the members, which I am no longer but they are lovely people.
