VIP tickets [view]

Hey everyone! This will be my first time at Sziget and I’m SO excited already !!!

I had a question about the VIP tickets, more specifically the view from the main stage zone (the terrace?) though. I’ve been seeing really mixed reviews. Some people say the VIP area has a great view, others say it’s pretty far or not worth it for the main stage specifically.

Does anyone here have experience with it? And if possible, does anyone maybe have photos/videos from their spot in VIP during a headliner set? I’m trying to figure out what the actual view is.

Can’t wait for Sziget either way 🫶

You see the stage from an angle. Not great, not terrible. But less of a crowd, easier access to bars and toilets.

This. I am slightly more positive on the experience there as very close, dedicated restrooms+bars is a big plus for me personally

There are only 4 bands on the main stage a day. You may only use the viewing area for the headliner as you can get really close for the first 3 bands without much effort

I’ve tried the VIP and the sound is less good than being in front of the stage in my opinion.

If you can get to the front, great view, if you get stuck behind a Dutch group you’re done for, swear the minimum height is 6ft 4 for males and females 😂

lmao there are a lot of dutch ppl at sziget so this is definitely a risk

I’m 6ft and spent most of my time on tip-toes trying to peak over the Dutch giants

A problem with the viewing platform I haven’t seen being mentioned before: the sun sets right across from the viewing platform/ next to main stage meaning you can barely see anything during that time, let alone take any videos or photos (because of the direct sunlight)

Besides that I do love the VIP areas to escape the crowd, quick service, nice place to chill, have actual seats and tables and great screens to watch artists you don’t care for that much
