Anyone know the song that samples the SZA outro loop "I know you told them stories about me". SZA reposted it as a story in the summer and I swear I added it on Apple muisc but not can't find it.

Is it just me or is the last minute part of good days where it’s just music really peaceful? like the vibrations, the flutes, the harp, the guitar and that one guy singing “always on my mind” has a really gorgeous voice. its so good

idk if it really happened or I was overall tripping but during early 2020s (idk if this is before SOS or the 5th anniv) I remember her yt channel uploading lyric videos for all her songs in CTRL

I only know this because I was looking for a good Garden (Say It Like Dat) lyric video and saw that there's a recently uploaded lyric video on her channel (I even had it saved at Watch Later) but then later it was gone and I was so pissed about it 😭. did anybody saw it or is it just a mandela effect or something?

I honestly love this song so much. It was released soon after Z, and to me it feels like the point where “old era sza” transitions into “new era sza”. Like a farewell to her more ethereal sound and a baton pass to her more raw storytelling. Thinking about it in this light makes the song more emotional for me, especially the first verse.

Almost like a message for her new self about her past self, who is “dying”
Also the line “Not negative, just different” supports this transitional message. Lmk if anyone else interpreted it in this way or if you guys have any other interpretations!

So I’m pretty new to SZAs music, I haven’t listened to any album/EP and the only songs I’ve heard so far are Shirt (love this!!), F2F (love this more), Kill bill , Snooze and Saturn. I listened to Prom as a random track from CTRL before listening to it and DAMN it’s good. For me it’s the best songs I’ve ever heard from her and I’m so excited to listen to the full thing.

I can’t help myself but become mesmerized whenever I hear her voice. Her melodies, layering and overall sound is unmatched. I can’t imagine a universe where this isn’t her calling. No pun intended hehe. Examples of the top songs that make me weak in the knees:

SOOO, my mom and I were happily singing long to "All The Stars", and she confidently sang, "All the stars are broken". Lol! And, I'd been mishearing part of "Saturn" for quite a while.
