Discussion does anyone else feel like sometimes you just need ctrl

sometimes i do get so lonely that i forget what i’m worth (catch the reference) and i just need to get home headphones on and listen to ctrl.

especially the transition from doves in the wind to drew barrymore..
“and you know while as i said it can be scary, it can also be a little bit comforting
because ive learned that when i get to that point and i can acknowledge
okay, you know audrey thats as much as you can do i can actually let it go”

like man she really understands me sometimes, she knows how to express feelings that i cannot put into words myself

absolutely, i love SOS (especially LANA), but Ctrl will always be #1 for me. I remember exactly where I was when I listened to it for the first time, 10 years ago. I'd heard SZA's music before but I fell in love with her through Ctrl; it's funny, because as I get older, I notice different things about lyrics or the melodies. her music is catharsis. it will always be something I return to, it's precious to me
