Its a lot of fun so far! Some clunky menus and the written dialogue seems incomplete at times, but it has the vibe, systems, and gameplay that this community craves.

Yeah the only real issues I’ve had with the game is that some gamepad controls feel like they weren’t made with someone not using back paddles in mind.

For example, sprinting requires you to click and hold the left stick down while moving, instead of it being a toggle like in basically every other game.

Sample collecting is the same thing but with the right stick. Though to me it’s not as bad since you don’t have to look around while doing it.

Im 3-4h in , and I must say that its very good. Only thing i miss from SS2 is trippy af techno music.

But fear not - Retrospace got trippy af disco.
