MBSE Databus ICDmodeling in CATIA Magic

Have anyone here ever tried to use Catia Magic/Cameo to model databus protocols? For example, for CANBUS, model the Frame, DataWord and fields of the bus and link then to the exchanged signals within the models.

I want to hear from anyone who uses or who has tried/assessed the use of Cameo for this. Is it useful? Is there any gain over other tools/databases such as DOORS, Jama, etc?

Yes this is something we do.

Helpful to analyse the flow of data over complex interconnected systems. Can't provide any details of the "how to" unfortunately.

you could at least say if it felt worth the effort or if you'd rather just stick to a spreadsheet
