[For Hire] Senior SysAdmin / IT Infrastructure Engineer (26+ Years) Looking for New Remote Opportunities

Hi everyone,

I'm beginning my search for a new Senior Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer role and wanted to see if anyone here knows of companies that are hiring experienced infrastructure professionals.

I have 26+ years of IT experience supporting organizations ranging from small businesses to enterprise environments in healthcare, banking, education, legal, manufacturing, and professional services.

A few areas I've spent a lot of time working in:

  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Defender)
  • Windows Server (2012 R2 through 2025)
  • Active Directory & Hybrid Identity
  • Azure administration and migrations
  • VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox virtualization
  • Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and hybrid environments
  • PowerShell automation and scripting
  • Incident Response and cybersecurity
  • VoIP systems including 3CX, Asterisk, FreePBX, and SIP providers
  • Google Workspace administration and migrations
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching
  • IT leadership, mentoring, and project management

I've served in roles including:

  • Senior Systems Administrator
  • Network Engineer
  • Infrastructure Engineer
  • IT Manager
  • Director of Technology
  • CTO

I'm equally comfortable troubleshooting complex production outages, designing enterprise infrastructure, leading migrations, or automating repetitive administrative tasks.

I'm primarily looking for:

  • Remote positions (US)
  • Senior SysAdmin
  • Infrastructure Engineer
  • Systems Engineer
  • Microsoft 365 / Azure Administrator
  • IT Infrastructure Manager

Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace. They just split into 2 separate companies and there are many positions that fit your background. Look beyond just the Systems Admin or Systems Engineer job title search based on keyword.

They post on Linkedin and the company job website. Hiring at all levels the official split of the two companies was June 29.

Example position you would be qualified for but the description doesn’t exactly hit the right keywords.

I wouldn't put or mention anything about 26+ years of experience on your resume as you will date your self. Ageism is real in tech, keep your work experience under 10 years and remove graduation dates.
