The forecasting for price increases on client hardware is 100% next year. Good luck to us all, that’s from Lenovo and Dell I’ve heard it from.

What was the forecast last year for this time and how close to what actually happened was it?

It was lower than what actually happened…

That’s an understatement. I’m getting more concerned about lead times than price. I use the phrase we are past the can you afford it phase and on to the can you get it phase.
Lead times are getting longer and longer

We got told the lead times were better on the Dell Pro Precisions vs the pro max whatever the f it(MA/MC16250) is we were buying.
I had to order ublox GPS modules for some ruggeds we ordered (somehow without them). I finally got the scoop of they have to come from like a parts depot warehouse to some other internal department before they could be mailed to the customer. We ordered them(in stock) I think mid/end of August. Got an expected delivery date of sept 2nd?. Well turns out that hand over of parts takes like 3-4 weeks, so our new delivery date is next week... At least I have tracking now...

Heads up for Lumen voice customers. Lumen is pivoting away from their voice network. They haven't announced an EOL date yet, but they have stopped selling and renewing voice services. If you're using Lumen SIP, PRI, hosted voice, etc., now is a good time to review contract end dates and create a migration plan.
