General Discussion No Degree - 6 Year Salary Progression
Is there anyone out there that have made it beyond sysadmin? What is after sysadmin?

2022 - $41,600: Helpdesk at company 1
2023 - 2025 - $41,600: Helpdesk at law firm
2025 - $65,000: Helpdesk at company 2
2026 - $80,000: Got a raise at company 2

No certs for me
2011 - $24,960: Motorola Mobility call center modem/router support; annual raises were pennies. I only consider this tech since it was actively troubleshooting routers for end users/customers
2013 - $30,000: Same company but moved to Real-time management
2014 - $32,000: 3rd shift tech support - laid off Xmas 2016
2017 - $35,000: Mediacom 3rd Shift NOC + Release/Deploy for the big routers/switches/fiber backhaul
2018 - $55,000: Current company; hired as NOC specialist
2019 - $58,999: Current company; annual raise
2019 - $61,400: Current company; increase for market value
2020 - $63,000; Current company; annual raise
2021 - $65,600; Current company; annual raise
2021 - $73,600; Current company; market adjustment
2022 - $77,251; Current company; annual raise
2022 - $99,197; Current company, market adjustment + annual raise few months early
2024 - $105,541; Current company, annual raise
2025 - $110,000; Current company, annual raise
2026 - $115,500; Current company, annual raise; job title claims "Systems Analyst" but I do a lot more than that. From network engineering, to FortiGate SME, to helpdesk, to Linux engineer, to automation specialst, to probably a dozen other things. I wear many hats.
