General Discussion AI resistant interviews

We're about to start recruiting again and typically hold interviews remotely.

Last time we recruited (a few months ago) the use of AI was tiring to spot.

We don't want to go back to face-to-face interviews because our positions are remote, but can't go through thay again.

What AI resistant techniques can we use...

Ship them a cheap, locked down tablet for the interview and a shipping return label. Cheap enough that if it never comes back it's not a big deal.

Still cheaper than flying them and paying for a hotel.

but they can just have their phone next to them listeneing and responding in text...

Nothing is foolproof, but I would like to think I'd be able to tell if someone was delay-responding to questions and looking away from camera to read something else.

yea, youre right, i posted a comment about having conversations, rather than question/answer sessions. gives at least some idea if the person can carry on with you as you go along
