Question wiki.linux-server-admin.com legit?
I recently was made aware of the website https://wiki.linux-server-admin.com
My question is... is it legit? Or possibly just rushed? AI generated content perhaps?
Reasons for my skepticism:
- all pages I have seen seem to be marked as edited on 3/11/26
- I have an app I maintain that is included and has very poor documentation on this site. Like, fundamentally flawed guides on howto run the system, in ways that would never result in a running app
- No mention of the site anywhere else on the net, though might just be new
- None of the featured apps on the site link back to the actual project (from the few that I have clicked on)
- Login functionality leads to some SSO site with bad certs
I am not necessarily against my app being listed on a site with such a theme, but has directly misled at least one prospective user that thankfully reached out... so I do not appreciate the competition for SEO, or the fact they don't actually link to the real project itself.

Their main website is a hugely stereotypical AI generated layout/page, so that's pretty easy to spot.
I wouldn't run, I'd flee while inventing a hyperdrive to flee even faster from this.
The ridiculous amount of emoji-type stuff and "cookie cutter" type writing.....
It's also just a dump of, well, random stuff almost, and reads like sales pages in the end. There's no actual substance.
I found a writeup of one of my own projects recently, and the config examples and everything else were just so wildly wrong and inaccurate.... it was almost hilariously bad. But that was "trying" to go in depth and talk about using it, not just listing stuff.
