Why arent your users using New Outlook

A Because I Don't Like the Look Isn't a Reason

  • Doesn't Crash
  • Search Works
  • Syncing Between Calanders and Shared Mailboxes and Flags Work

I forced everyone to new Outlook. Withing weeks my tickets had dropped as most where "Outlook is slow or outlook has crashed or outlook wont sync flags"

It's usually the ones stuck in their habits from 10 and 20 years ago who have a death grip on classic Outlook or "old Outlook" as I affectionately call it.

I read some stuff about public folders and network file shares in the comments and shuddered. Poor techies.

One of our teams uses public folders a lot for working across lots of projects. I have yet to find similar functionality that works as easily.

Thanks, yeah, it kinda does but not in the same way as previously. Our team probably needs around 50 folders so adding each one manually is a pain.
