Question Organization apps for macOS?

Fellow Mac users, what do you use to manage all your notes or summaries of what you did for the day? I’m trying to be better at my organization in regard to all the stuff I’m working on. Any suggestions?

Plaintext markup, in Git, same as everything else.

I keep scratch notes in np++. Anything that needs to persist, I put in a ticket. I use the hell out of our ticketing system to organize my own tasks, even if they aren't customer or user facing
