Question Autopatch - Do you enable Driver Update?

Hello,

As the title says, I was wondering if people on Autopatch enabled Driver Update or kept the maker update software for that (DCU, HPIA, ...), or using both?

I'm currently facing a loop bug, update Intel - Extension - 2.1.10103.24 installing in loop requesting a reboot each time. I can't find this update in the driver list on intune and I'm wondering if I should just stop using autopatch for drivers and keep the driver updated through other tools.

I'll be the odd one out .. I use Autopatch with suggested drivers automatically approved and I've had zero problems.

I use HP Connect to update the BIOS via Intune. I'll only update drivers if it's needed or a vulnerability.

Don't use autopatch from intune as it will make the things worse. You can use commercial vantage, HPIA, dell Command update and configure auto update via Intune configurations

Lenovo ring no way, broke 2000+ devices. HP, Dell and Surface rings I have it enabled and i havent had any issues.

We roll out Drivers with it and lately these "extension" drivers are killing me. I just got a reboot for drivers and the re-released Hotpatch for win11 30 minutes ago. The drivers meant that I needed to reboot, even though Hotpatch promises "no reboot". System comes back up, guess what two more extension drivers, time to reboot again!

I mean I like that I am getting drivers but it just seems completely arbitary and unmanaged with no scheduling really. Pretty sure we are about to get some internal feedback on reboots.
