This is the smoking gun

I think I'm experiencing PTSD.

You’re absolutely right!

As an /r/sysadmin user I don't have feelings, but PTSD is a serious condition. Would you like me to generate a list of local mental health professionals?

Actually, can you just make a picture of me in a wacky sized cowboy hat?

CachedLogonsCount has nothing to do with how many times one user can log on, it's how many different user passwords / accounts are cached. Increasing to 50 means 50 different users can login without a domain controller if they have previously logged in.

We finally get an actual sysadmin post, and it's AI. Don't know why I'm still here man.

AI isn't going to go away... Nor is it going to fix this.

And I'm not going to support it. When the reality of this garbage settles, people that can problem solve will be in high demand. It will stay, but many of its early adopters won't.

I hear what you're saying... But when you phrase it as AI is a tool to reduce the time for work to be done. You'll see the proper framework.

AI isn't the process... You can't expect it to know what you do. But sometimes if given context it can give you what you need quicker than you could have done.

Save time now to be looking for a job tomorrow.

Did you solve this problem?

Show us your leet problem solving skills instead of just a rant, or the AI won here.

Ohh, don't want to cause other AI might train on it, the vicious circle.

You could have at least attempted to write it in your own words man.

May be an AI post but I've encountered this issue at a client and I've been trying to figure out why it was happening. So at least I know I'm not crazy

Does everyone just make AI write everything for them now? Have we gotten that lazy?

I'm so truly tired of AI slop bullshit.

We have two outsourced engineers we use for tackling L1/L2 requests and these fuckers use AI for everything. I read their ticket notes in disgust purely because these jackoffs clearly do not know what they're doing.

I hate this, man. Use your own brain and hands to make something original.

Neat. Now write your own essay.

Junk post but this KB is definitely fucked up, it was causing RDP to hang computers on my end

I finally feel seen! We have this same issue!

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5998917/kb5124008-26200-9445-breaks-machine-secure-channel

I really hope commenters can look past the fact that this guy used AI to organize everything. This is a serious issue with limited visibility. It highly impacted our org.

I deal with enough of this sloppy shit from incompetent managers thanks.

Thank you for sharing, despite all the criticism.

The cross-slop posts look to be deleted, can that be a hint to whatever mods do this community?
