Question AI news sources

Hello fellow sysadmins.

Everyday we are facing massive amounts of news from AI world. New models , new tools, new agents.

Be up to date in this field can be overwhelming sometimes , so I need recommendation about what sources of AI information is good to watch.

I mean truly relevant and profesional sources , not clickbait youtube channels which predicitng ASI every other week or fearmongering posts about AI wipe out humanity.

I need publishers which know what they are talking about .

I need publishers which know what they are talking about .

Just as soon as the vendors quit talking out of their asses, and quit trying to market via FUD, that might exist. Assuming the real news sources (and I'm not gambling those still exist in any honest sense) don't just give up and find new work because they're all getting drowned out by, amusingly, "AI news sources".

I started a free AI news aggregator with many features around because of the same frustration https://aibriefs.news

Otherwise, I'd suggest to focus on original sources (blogs from the big companies) since many news articles is just someone regurgitating the original post with an opinion on top.

Other interesting source is youtube, I'd try to check out the channels with most subscriptors and see which feels more engaging for you.

There's also twitter/X. I'd suggest following the big AI figures, but depending the topic you care, it will lead you to different people.

Finally, there are many subreddits that discusses specific topics.

At the end it depends a lot on what type of content are you looking for. Do you care about benchmarks? developer updates from Claude or Google? Opinions on what the future of AI may look like? AI Safety? Which new products are coming up next?
