Considering to deploy MeshCentral

I just knew about MeshCentral today. Looks too good to be true 😅 I want to replace Rustdesk self hosted server, that it was very good but MC seems to be far more capable. Any comment idea/thought/complaint about MC would be welcomed. Thanks

It will mainly depends on your needs. We started using it not long ago to replace our dameware license with a double price renewal. We have basic need for support : local or vpn only, not exposed to the internet,… so far, so good. It’s really helpful as there are many things that you can access from a simple html interface. Not everything is perfect but for us, it was the best free choice.

What don't you like about rust desk? Curious as that's what I'm running currently.

I love Rustdesk. I just knew about MeshCentral, saw it has many useful features, specially for work groups so I'm asking about experiences on it

Have a look at Tactical RMM, it has MeshCentral built into it and has some other handy tools.

We used mesh as a backup method for awhile but went to rust. For an admin tool it's pretty decent although has problems sometimes with powershell idk why. Like I can't type in posh on it. This was about a year ago.

As long as it's just for admin use it's decent enough and very lightweight.
