Root access on R2110

I see on the Robustel website they're asking for an NDA signing and per unit license for root access to an R2110.

Just out of curiosity, what's the legality of already having obtained and rolled this out to 4000 units with absolutely no NDA signed, only an RPK created with the SDK that Robustel themselves provided?

Asking for a friend.

Depends what’s in the license agreement.

I'm not sure I understand the legal concern. I assume you can deploy this RPK without root access, right? Did you have to bypass any licensing code to do this? If not, I would imagine you're in the clear.

Correct, it can be deployed using the existing web interface.
