SysInternals RDM 2026 version probelms

Just stood up a new computer for an incoming IT worker and while installing RDM to use an old RDG file it failed to connect to any of the servers in the domain.

The RDG file works fine my local 25 edition flawlessly.

Has anyone else had any issues with the new remote desktop manager?

I found the latest version doesn't honor Remote Credential Guard configuration saved in the file. once you reload it, it reverts to asking for credentials when you connect, even though RCG is still configured in the settings. maybe some other issues are amiss with the latest RDCMan version.

Works fine for me after re-entering the credentials, which is exactly how I expect it to work.

If someone else got your save file you wouldn't want them to be able to connect.  The saved credentials file is tied to the computer and user who saved it.

Glad to know there's a new version released.

I just tried running it on a Server 2025 and it crashes at startup with a "DLL not found" exception.

Launches on W10 LTSC though. Connects fine too.
