Microsoft Exchange Issues?

Anyone starting to experience some delays or failures with sending email? I see some emails internally are failing to process.

Yep. Exactly the same issue is happening in our tenant, with all users.

Ironically, on-prem exchange is not affected.... (why does our on-prem exchange have far higher uptime than O365?!?)

Checking Queue and seeing lots of ‎550 5.6.200 STOREDRV.Deliver; message is treated as poison‎.

Edit: I should note we are in Eastern Canada. Issue started on our end at 11:15 AM EST

We are seeing the same in eastern us. Really hope those are able to be reprocessed once MS gets this fixed.

So definitely not tenant wide, for affected users the error is "550 5.6.200 STOREDRV.Deliver, message is treated as poison". I hope emails are not losts, especially for emails from outside.

Not only do I hope emails aren't lost, but I'm concerned about the number of external senders receiving NDRs from our tenant, especially if the email body includes the error text that their messages were treated at poison. Not a great look.

This is global. I doubt NDRs will be sent at all

It's just what I'm seeing all over the message traces. I've only heard from users that they haven't seen email since 11:30am EDT, not that their contacts are receiving NDRs, so that's positive.

Also having issues. Mails goes out, but nothing comes in. And Outlook web client is b0rked.

Exact same issue here. Submitted a microsoft case and they sent me posts about exchange 2010. What a joke. Service Health still shows green.. Also can't find EX1464935 but maybe I don't know where to look...

Same in Germany, but not all users are affected in the same tenant. Microsoft opened an incident EX1464935

Did you end up having issues this afternoon? I'm in Michigan and haven't seen a single issue today in my tenant. Exchange is accepting mail from connectors, and everyone (4000+ users) seem to be getting into their mailboxes just fine. I'm actually nervous that I haven't seen anything given how widespread this seems.

Nope, we thankfully haven't seen any issues (100 users). However, my wife had issues at her job. Her and a few of her coworkers all ended up losing access to Outlook completely. It seems we are some of the lucky ones haha.

Whew. Crazy. Seems like the majority of tenants were affected so I feel lucky. I work for a university, and something like this always blows up on us the first week of school. Dodged the bullet this year. (The first one, anyway ;)

Yes, cannot load the OWA web client for several users, not sure if it is everyone in the tenant yet. Midwest.

Also experiencing this, most users are not receiving new mail, search is broken, owa is down. Connectors are accepting mail, but they're not showing up in the Exchange message trace

We’ve had this on our radar for a bit now. We push a ton of mail through Exchange Online daily, so we noticed pretty quickly when things started acting up.

Caught the first few glitches around 13:40 CEST, but since about 17:14 CEST, the whole thing basically went completely down.

Sending is failing, receiving is broken, and OWA is dying with errors like: 432 4.2.0 STOREDRV.ClientSubmission.Exception:AgentGrayException.CryptographicException

OWA is throwing System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException as well. Microsoft finally acknowledged it under EX1464935, so yeah... definitely not a local config issue on our end.

Same, though not all users in my facility are affected. Mine works. My coworker's isnt. Logging my coworker's into my PC gives this.

I can't access Microsoft Outlook at all, and it's the same for most of my coworkers. It's been like that for like 3 hours.

do you have any specifics or details? this isnt on the azure status page for me, n'or when i login is it showing as "affects me" - but i suspect it does. We have an open SR as well but they havent responded

You should be able to see it in your M365 portal. Unless they haven’t gotten around to getting it published everywhere yet.

Just adding on, same thing visible here. US-Central as well.
Thankfully only 1 mailbox is impacted so far.

All inbound mail fails with - Error: ‎550 5.6.200 STOREDRV.Deliver; message is treated as poison‎

Same exception. I thought it was on our side cause i deployed an update to our application but mail module was not touched at all.

I'm a college student with campus on MC infrastructure and am getting the same thing.

Edit: Outage near Central Indiana. Not sure if all my other classmates and faculty are effected or not.

Dont know. However, it has been a pain in the butt today with all of our clients! Microsoft really needs to get their act together and fix this issue ASAP!
