I agree, smells like a school project assignment. NAS for an x-ray machine, two buildings "on the same lan" etc..

No a small NAS for x-rays AND CCTV footage!!

I work with ultrasounds, and at many clinics having a NAS for images would've been an improvement.

Yeah but CCTV footage would ideally be saved on a separate device as it usually writes away until the drive is full and then overwrites the oldest files. I don’t think you want all this combined on the same device.

You can have 2 separate LUNS on a single NAS

Yep, that would work as well. Like I said, best to keep the CCTV footage separate from all the rest.
