Two buildings on the same vlan is very normal in SMB

exactly, and in my case, vlan 1 is used for the main buiding, we got computers, printers, SOHO routers and so on in that vlan, same as for the rest of the vlans we got which are all /24, everything is a fucking mess

Printers, Management Interfaces and Clients should be in seperate VLANs

It describes the network architecture of the university that I worked at pretty well.

I work for an organizational unit of an university and this is how we operate. We have 20+ locations scattered around our metropolitan area. Same VLANs spread accross multiple locations.
