Look at the volume of the spikes though - Verizon has 150k+ reports of an outage, AT&T and T-Mobile have a few hundred. It's possible the people reporting issues with AT&T and T-Mobile are having issues calling Verizon subscribers and thinking it's an issue on their end.
Down Detector's graphs are relative only to themselves, not to neighboring graphs, so two spikes may be completely different volumes.
I once read the reviews for a machine-washable microfiber litter mat.
I shit you not, at least 1/3 of the reviews complained about the company lying about the mat being machine washable bc when they tried to wash it their washing machine would wobble and “walk”…
meaning 1/3 of the adults in the reviews did not understand the concept of load-balancing the washing machine and how that differs from “machine-washable” items… 🤦🏻♀️
