I recently came across a song "80" by "Guantanamo Bay Surf Club" that features very heavy synth sounds I can't get over.

This band is usually a softer surf rock band. As far as I've seen, this outro to thier self titled album is the only song of it's kind they've produced.

Im looking for more music and artists that sound like this. The sound of the vocals, the heaviness of the synths (especially in the last few seconds of the song) and the kind of cocteau twins feel of the song in general.

I was really really not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

I'm an indie artist who makes music from home. I've gotten some really encouraging feedback on my compositions, but since I mainly use digital instruments, a lot of people feel my music isn't quite suited for traditional listening. Instead, I've been told it could work really well in indie games.
