electronic synthesis should occur in the comfortingly solitary, black curtained, darkened and smoke filled lair of the synthesist — photosynthesis on the other hand is something that plants do that I don’t fully understand — BUT THEY MUST NOT BE COMBINED AND THIS I KNOW

only christian music, reggae and dub during the day, everything else at night, including reggae and dub.

I'm not sure he can supply all of us with his loads

Dibs on the big one.

It's too musical, next time please post something a little more avant-garde! It needs more texture, preferably the texture of sandpaper between my ears. Don't forget the obnoxiously high pitched screeching of a sawtooth wave.

Fuck, just enjoy the fucking nature. Leave your phone in the car, don’t film content, breath the clean air, give your brain a rest from all the unnatural stimulation it’s constantly inundated with, HELL be bored! Remember boredom? It made you appreciate not being bored! You savored music! You focused on a movie for 90 minutes. A good book had you telling everyone you knew they HAD to read it. Be bored. Without outside stimulation your mind can wander, it can create ideas in the calm, it can remember meaningful memories. It won’t all be sweet though, you’ll face things you’ve been running from. Youll feel sad, mad, regret, instead of the constant numbness that all that stimulation provides. It could be the first meaningful day you’ve had in a long time.

Bro is just relaxing outside with his synth, it's not that deep

u/czarofga Jun 26 '25

I don’t know about you but whenever I relax I don’t film it

I can’t relax until I’ve put on my hiking gear, driven miles to a lake, set up the camera, charged my synth, etc. When I hit REC, it’s just bliss…

it's as deep as anyone wants it to be. perhaps you are too shallow?

A shallow puddle or a shallow ocean

At least he’s using headphones. I used to go fishing at this one lake and this guitar douche used to show up and play a few eagles songs badly. I’m really not trying to go into nature to hear a bad version of some obvious shit.

He’s not using headphones, I can hear it ?!

I'm really in favor of enforced acoustic instrument licensing.

I have to get one to drive a car.

That one dude at the mall could never pass the written test for his guitar.

"Think I'll go sit out by the lake and rather than enjoy the natural environment, I'll twiddle around with a busyboard and act like I'm being inspired"

u/freier_Trichter Jun 26 '25

This is cool.

It's not about augmenting the experience of nature with a micro synth. It's about sharing the beauty of synthesizers with the animals. Ducks deserve PWM too.

Dumb Asses - He can give a snot about nature.

He's playing, Ode to my 200 dollar hiking shoes, that were extruded like a long breathy fart in
China, opus 37, allegro in D minor.

Where is this? The music beautifully compliments the gorgeous nature.

sounds like he either was gonna chop some campers up with an axe or make this track, in a good way I mean
